After competing last October I thought I would try to compete in another division. I definitely didn't do it the right way and am now playing catch up for it. Anyone who knows me is well aware that I love cardio...it's a great stress relief. Well...I completely stopped doing cardio to try to build muscle, allowed myself too many "reward" meals and am not 10 lbs heavier than I was 6 months ago and it's been really messing with my head.

Now don't get me wrong...of that 10lbs 6 have been confirmed as lean muscle but that leave the other 4 lbs of fat that I just cannot take anymore. With an upcoming retirement and moving I didn't want to commit to another competition....unless a week ago. I told myself that I loved being in prep mode and I'm good at it.
This time I am following guidelines but listening to my body much more than before. I'll continue to share my feelings and experiences through this process and will be posting new pictures as we go. I'll also share what workouts I'm doing, meals I'm eating and how I am feeling in general. Can't wait to share the next 5 weeks with you all...
